- Select the appropriate diamond polishing pads with different grit levels. Start with a lower grit pad (e.g., 50 or 100) for initial grinding and gradually progress to higher grits (e.g., 200, 400, 800, 1500, and 3000) for finer polishing.

Attach Polishing Pads to the Polishing Machine:
- Attach the chosen diamond polishing pad to the polishing machine or angle grinder with variable speed. Ensure it is securely fastened.

Wet Polishing:
- Wet the mosaic surface with water before starting the polishing process. This helps cool the diamond pad and prevents overheating. Use a spray bottle to mist the surface as you work.

Polishing Process:
- Start the polishing machine at its lowest speed, and gently run the diamond pad over the mosaic surface in a circular motion. Apply even pressure but avoid pressing too hard to prevent damage.
- Begin with the lowest grit diamond pad, and make several passes until the surface imperfections are removed or reduced. Gradually progress to higher grit pads, repeating the process with each one.
- Continue polishing until you've used all the desired grit levels, achieving a smoother and shinier surface with each pad.

- Once you've finished polishing with the highest grit pad (usually 3000), clean the surface with water to remove any residue and debris from the polishing process. Dry it thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth or towel.
